We leave your old hosting alone: the new copy is built alongside it, and we switch only after you approve.

Ticket with the migration form
In the client area you fill in the migration form: domain, current provider, website type, size, mailboxes.

Review and confirmation
We review your details. If the site fits the package you receive the invoice; if not, we send a custom quote first.

Copy and test
From the securely handed-over backup we rebuild the site on the new hosting while the old site keeps running.

Switch at an agreed time
You approve the test, then we switch DNS at an agreed time. The SSL certificate is issued after that.

Checks and hand-over
We check the site and email, hand over the access details and delete our copies after 14 days at the latest.

With an annual Plus or Pro hosting plan, the Basic migration of one website is free if you request it within 30 days of ordering. For the Plus plan we take on at most 4 free migrations per month, in order of arrival.
Net prices without VAT, in euros. The fee covers the migration; the hosting plan is ordered separately.
What we need
What the migration form asks
If you do not know something, choose “I don’t know” and we will help find out. (The form is in Hungarian.)
- The domain(s) to move
- Current provider and control panel type (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin or other)
- Website type and version (e.g. WordPress 6.8, PHP 8.2)
- Estimated size: files and database together
- Special settings: cron jobs, redirects, .htaccess, languages, multisite
- For shops: whether ordering can be paused during the switch
- List of mailboxes and estimated size (no passwords)
- Who manages the domain's DNS and whether you have access
- How you will hand over access (see below)
- When the switch would suit you (time of day, week)
To be clear
What we do not do
Better to know now than to find out halfway through.
- We do not update or repair the site's software, theme or plugins, and we do not redesign anything.
- We do not clean infected (malware) sites; if we find malware we tell you and pause the move.
- No Node.js, Python or Java applications and no server-level settings (root, custom services).
- We do not promise a switch without interruption or a fixed deadline; we agree the date with you.
- We provide no backup and do not keep old data: keep the old hosting until the switch is confirmed.
- Transferring the domain between registrars is a separate process, and we do not move Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace mail (we only carry over the DNS records).
Secure access
We do not ask for your main password
A backup or a temporary, limited user is enough for the move, so your old account stays under your control.
1. Migration plugin archive
For WordPress you create an archive with a backup plugin (e.g. All-in-One WP Migration or Duplicator) and send us a download link. No password needed.
2. Your provider's backup file
Most control panels can create a full backup (cPanel: Backup). Send us the download link or put the file in a shared folder.
3. Temporary, separate user
You create an SFTP/FTP user limited to the website folder plus a database export. We never ask for your main control panel password. Delete that user after the move.
- Never put a password in the ticket or an email. If one is unavoidable, we ask for it via a one-time, expiring secret link and ask you to change it afterwards.
- We delete our copies 14 days after completion at the latest. This is not a backup: keep your own copy.

Will my website go down during the move?
The old site keeps running while we test the new one. At the switch, DNS caches mean some visitors see the old server and some the new one for minutes or hours. We do not promise zero downtime, but the order of steps keeps it as short as possible.
How long does it take?
Copying and testing a typical WordPress site is a few hours of work. We work in order of arrival and agree the switch date with you, so we do not commit to a fixed deadline.
Why don't you ask for my password?
Because we do not need it. A backup file or a temporary, limited user is enough, and your old account stays under your control. Passwords stored in tickets would be the biggest risk for you and for us.
What if the migration cannot be completed?
If the review shows the site does not fit the package, we tell you before payment. If the work cannot be finished for reasons on our side, we refund the migration fee. Your old hosting stays untouched either way.
When can I cancel my old hosting?
Only after the switch, once you have confirmed that the website and email work. We recommend leaving a few days of buffer.
Do you move my email too?
In the Plus package we move up to 10 mailboxes including existing mail. We request mailbox access in a secure way and ask you to change the passwords afterwards. The Basic package covers the website only.
What if my site is not WordPress?
Static HTML sites are included in Basic and Plus. For Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop or other PHP apps we review first and send a quote. If the stack is something we cannot run reliably, we say so openly.
What does it cost and how do I pay?
Prices are one-time net fees in euros. After the review you receive an invoice in the client area, payable by card; we start once it is paid.
